CD63 & CD63-E Dome Cameras
Verkada introduces the CD63 (indoor) and CD63-E (outdoor) dome cameras, featuring superior image quality powered by a new AI-capable processor. These models deliver sharper video, better analytics performance, and a streamlined installation process that makes deployment faster and easier.
AI-Powered Reverse Image Search
One of the most exciting additions this release is AI-powered reverse image search. You can now upload a photo and Verkada will find matching persons, vehicles, or objects across your entire camera fleet using advanced pixel and pattern analysis. This is a major time-saver for investigations — instead of manually scrubbing through hours of footage, simply upload a reference image and let the AI do the work.
Occupancy Trends Enhancements
Occupancy trends get a meaningful upgrade with multiple count-line presets, the ability to track both people and vehicles with averaging, and new in/out graphing. These improvements provide richer operational insights for retail locations, offices, lobbies, and other high-traffic environments.
Quick Alert Creation
Verkada now lets you convert any search query into an alert with a single click directly from the search interface. This streamlines the process of setting up monitoring rules — find what matters, then immediately start getting notified about it.
Command Connector Updates
The Command Connector expands its capabilities with custom NTP/NTS support, new EU and Australia data center options, and compatibility with over 1,000 non-Verkada cameras. This makes it easier than ever to bring third-party camera systems under Verkada’s unified management platform.
Granular API & Webhook Permissions
For organizations with more advanced integration needs, Verkada now offers customizable API keys with product-line-specific access and selective event forwarding via webhooks. This means you can create API credentials that are scoped to exactly what each integration needs — nothing more, nothing less.
New Dome Mount (ACC-MNT-REC-2)
A new flush ceiling mount is now available for dome cameras, supporting ceilings up to 50mm thick. This provides a clean, professional installation look for indoor deployments.
CM41-S End-of-Sale Notice
The CM41-S camera will be discontinued on February 1, 2025. Verkada recommends the CM42-S as the replacement model. If you’re currently using or planning to order CM41-S units, reach out to us to discuss your transition options.
